August 07 What Is A Hypertext
 PLEASE CLICK HERE Hypertext is a transparent linkage of textural documents to other related documents on the world wide web.
When you read a document and it says 'For more information Click Here' there is a hypertext link to a related article somewhere else on the web.
At the bottom of this page is a hypertext link which will take you to my other site. It takes you directly to a particular section of this site where you are able to vote for me. On the page is a button for you to push. This button will take you to another site where the vote is registered.
These two links are called hyperlinks.
The Words, 'Click Here' and the button, are hypertext.
The hyperlinks are embedded in the HTML and are activated when you click on the words or picture.
