Setting Your Site To Public

When you leave a message for someone on their site, a hyperlink to your site is left at the end of your entry. This is left by default when you are typing your comment. If you don't want people to track back to you, you must remove your space address before you publish your comment.

If you do want people to come and visit you, or you are asking a question and need an answer, your site must be set to public. Otherwise when the person clicks on your hyperlink it will tell them they cannot get access to you.

To set your permission to public do the following:

Click on Edit Your Space
Click on Settings
Click on Permissions Tag
Click on Public
Click on Save

Now you are ready to roll. Whoopie!!
