Lesson Fifteen - Powertoy Tweakomatic
If you have visited my page one, you will notice, that my colours and appearance are not in the choices of the themes of the msn spaces.
This is because a new prog has been written that allows you to choose your own colours and borders.
This new prog is called a Powertoy
and this toy is called Tweak UI.
Here is how you can download and use this new powertoy.
- First make sure you are in edit your space.
- Then copy and paste this html (&powertoy=tweakomatic) without the brackets, into your address bar at the end of the current address.
- This is what mine looks like:

- Next click on go
- When the page has reloaded click on customize then modules
- From the drop down menu choose Powertoy Tweak UI Then click save
- Now you have a new box of instructions on your page. This will not show when you preview your page so move it to the bottom of your page out of the way and click save again.
Now you are ready to personalise your page.

TO CHANGE THE COLOUR AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE YOU HAVE TO CHOOSE A THEME THAT HAS THE COLOUR YOU WANT ON IT'S TOP BORDER. WHEN YOU GO INTO EDIT A BLOG YOU WILL BE TYPING ON THE DEFAULT PAGE OF THAT THEME. YOU WILL NOT SEE THE NEW COLOURS YOU HAVE CREATED BUT THE NEW COLOURS WILL BE SEEN IN PREVIEW AND BY YOUR VISITORS |
